Farah honours the diversity of human experience, including culture, gender, sexuality, personalities, and the many ways people think and feel. She believes people are not broken, and focuses on strengths and what matters most, especially in the face of adversity. Her work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a modern, evidence-based approach rooted in Contextual Behavioural Science that she also lives by. She supports both short-term and longer-term work, and gently de-emphasises pathologising labels in favour of values and resilience. Farah has nearly 15 years of experience and also provides ACT training and supervision to other mental health professionals.
