Registered Psychologist
Amy is a compassionate and experienced Registered Psychologist who provides therapeutic support to individuals across the lifespan, with a special focus on people navigating life’s challenges.

Drawing from a broad background that includes work in the Department of Education, employee assistance for the resource sector, and private practice, Amy brings a wealth of practical knowledge to her practice.

She is passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful space where clients feel heard and supported. Amy works with people from all walks of life, including those from the LGBTIQ+ community, and approaches therapy with openness and understanding. Her client-centred and humanistic approach focuses on each individual’s experiences, relationships, and worldview, fostering a non-judgemental environment where clients can explore their challenges with self-compassion and curiosity.

While Amy’s primary focus is on adult clients, she also brings significant expertise in supporting children and adolescents, especially in areas such as emotional regulation, attachment, and social development. She has facilitated group programs for young people and finds great joy in helping them build confidence and resilience.

Amy uses techniques from a range of evidence-based interventions such as

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),
  • Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS),
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT),
  • Schema Therapy (ST),
  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) and CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I).

Amy runs her own independent practice and engages Clear Health Psychology to provide administrative and other business services to enable her to provide assessment and treatment to her clients.

Appointment duration:  51 minutes

Sessions rates:

Individuals: $240.00 per appointment

Medicare rebate is available with a Mental Health Care Plan for individual appointments.

Cancellation Policy:  Appointments are precious and we appreciate you giving at least 48 hours’ notice if you cannot attend. For cancellations under 48 hours, 50% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate. For cancellations under 24 hours, 100% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate.

Please note: Amy sees children over 7yrs+ (Parents required for under 13) and adults.
