Jaclynn uses her experience in research, education and assessment to provide professional development and individualised support to parents, young people and educators.
Jaclynn is passionate about encouraging increased access to individualised education for young people with mental health issues, neurodevelopmental and specific learning disorders.
Jaclynn has also worked extensively with adolescents and children with significant behavioural difficulties, self harm and suicidal thoughts.
Jaclynn can provide assessments and support plans for:
- Neurodevelopmental Disorders (such as ADHD)
- Specific Learning Disorders (such as Dyslexia)
- Oppositional Defiant and Conduct Disorder
Jaclynn’s clinical work predominantly focuses on using cognitive behavioural therapy whilst also drawing from other evidence-based approaches such as dialectical behavioural therapy, Schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and interpersonal therapy.
Jaclynn focuses on collaboration and creating a safe and engaging space for clients to understand and work through the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that maintain the challenges that impact their overall wellbeing.
