Emma Stein

Emma is a devoted Clinical Psychologist Registrar who offers a warm, safe, and compassionate space in which to nurture client’s mental health and wellbeing. She is trusted for her authenticity and non-judgemental clinical care, having won an award for her clinical skills and expertise. Clients respond to Emma’s relational depth, unwavering empathy, and adaptability in attending to their needs.
Working from a relational/psychodynamic model, Emma also draws upon cognitive behavioural, attachment-based and existential models to deliver individualised and unique person-centred care. Emma works with a variety of clinical presentations, including depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, adjustment difficulties, relationship and family issues, perinatal mental health and parenting challenges.

Clinical Experience and Background

Emma completed her Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), First Class Honours (Psychology), and master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. She has worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, early intervention centres, and government supported agencies. She is also a member of AHPRA and the Australian Psychological Society.
