Registered Psychologist
Emily is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and holds full membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi). Emily is also an AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor for Psychology graduates.

Emily has a wide range of experience across multiple environments and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her sessions with clients.

Emily is passionate when working with clients to address their needs, and works in a collaborate, understanding and respectful way. Having worked within multiple settings and with vastly different client cohorts, Emily’s personability and communicative skills are exceptional, and she can easily make others feel at ease and comfortable in sessions.

Emily has been practicing in psychology for over 16 years and in this time, she has worked with a disability services provider (providing NDIS and assessment services), a workplace health organisation (providing insurance assessments, mediation, and counselling services), private practice (providing counselling across multiple referral pathways), WA Police (in assessment, recruiting, and counselling), the Education Department of WA (providing services to school staff), and in vocational rehabilitation (completing various workplace assessments).

Emily uses a wide range of evidence-based treatment interventions matched to individual client needs (person-centred) and integrates a range of evidence-based therapy models. This includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Emotion Focussed Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Emily assists people manage a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting support, work-related stress, interpersonal issues, and life changes.

Emily has an excellent understanding of the impact that neurodiversity can have on mental health, from emotional literacy and awareness challenges, through to challenges with specific coping skill development and retainment of learning.

Emily runs her own independent practice and engages Clear Health Psychology to provide administrative and other business services to enable her to provide assessment and treatment to her clients.

Sessions rates:

Individuals: $210.00 per appointment

Medicare rebate is available with a Mental Health Care Plan for individual appointments. 

Cancellation Policy: Appointments are precious and we appreciate you giving at least 24 hours notice if you cannot attend. For cancellations under 24 hours, 50% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate.
