Registered Psychologist

She has been working as a psychologist for the last 16 years, providing support and assistance to people experiencing mental health issues across a range of fields. Emily navigates treatment with sincerity and compassion which helps put people at ease. She works collaboratively with clients to reach therapy goals using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness and solution focused therapy.

Clinical Experience and Background

Emily started her career as a sport psychologist at the NSW Institute of Sport, providing elite athletes with mental skills training to assist them to achieve their peak performance. She has also worked within the fields of occupational rehabilitation (mainly with NSW Police Force and NSW Department of Education), corporate psychology, mediation and HR consulting, however her true passion lies with counselling and helping individuals in a clinical setting.

Emily can assist adults with a full range of mental health issues including depression and anxiety, stress, grief and loss, chronic pain, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, parenting challenges and mental skills training for both elite and non-elite athletes.

Emily runs her own independent practice and engages Clear Health Psychology to provide administrative and other business services to enable her to provide assessment and treatment to her clients.

Sessions rates:

Individuals: $210.00 per appointment

Medicare rebate is available with a Mental Health Care Plan for individual appointments.

Cancellation Policy: Please be advised that no shows or cancellations made within 24 hours notice of your scheduled appointment, will incur a late cancellation fee at the full rate of the appointment.

Cancellations made within 24-48 hours notice of your scheduled appointment, will incur a late cancellation fee, charged at 50% of the appointment fee.

There will be no late cancellation fees charged for cancellations outside of 48 hours.
