Clinical Psychologist
Elisa is an experienced clinical psychologist who seeks to offer a supportive space which is warm, engaging, trusting, respectful, and collaborative. She holds endorsement as clinical psychologist with AHPRA.

Elisa is passionate about helping clients to flourish, reflect on their experiences, and to make meaningful changes which will last throughout their lives. She works in partnership with clients to cultivate hopefulness, readiness for change, and to help clients live according to their values. She is particularly interested in helping clients to navigate life transitions, stressful work environments and relationship issues.

Elisa has training in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, schema therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement and Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).

She treats a range of presentations including:

Elisa has previously worked as a school psychologist, in youth counselling, with clients who hear voices, and in adult outpatient mental health. She has also worked as a psychologist in aged care in metro and rural settings. While most of her work has focused on individual and group sessions, she has coordinated and run workshops for parents using the Triple P parenting framework, has run professional development workshops for staff, and has co-facilitated group therapy programs such as dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) for adults.

Elisa completed her Masters of Applied Psychology (Clinical) in 2018 at Murdoch University. She previously completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology (2010) and Diploma of Education (School Psychology) (2011) from The University of Western Australia. Elisa’s research interests include childhood obesity, perinatal depression and parent-child attachment. Most recently, her research (published in 2019) focused on exploring relationships between mother’s mental health during and post pregnancy, and young children’s social and emotional development.

Elisa runs her own independent practice and engages Clear Health Psychology to provide administrative and other business services to enable her to provide assessment and treatment to her clients.

Sessions rates:

Individuals: $270.00 per appointment

Medicare rebate is available with a Mental Health Care Plan for individual appointments. 

Cancellation Policy: Appointments are precious and we appreciate you giving at least 24 hours notice if you cannot attend. For cancellations under 24 hours, 50% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate.

Please Note: Elisa does not accept appointments for children under the age of 5 years old, couple’s or family sessions
