Dylan Kirkpatrick

Dylan is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).
Dylan is passionate about mental wellbeing with experience in working with adolescents (14+), adults, couples, and persons within LGBTIQA+ communities. Dylan takes an open and collaborative approach to best understand what has brought you to see him, and how best he can assist you in meeting your unique mental health goals.

Dylan uses techniques from a range of evidence based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy (ST), mindfulness and compassion based frameworks.

Dylan has a particular interest in assisting clients experiencing challenges related to;

Dylan has completed his Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and Master of Clinical Psychology degrees through Curtin University. He has experience working within private practice and community mental health settings, and with the Department of Communities in Child Protection and Family Support.
