What are the benefits of an Employee Assistance Program?
An EAP-funded psychology session works to support an employee’s emotional and psychological well-being. Having this type of support can result in higher employee productivity, fewer sick days and reduced staff turnover, benefitting both the employer and employee.
EAP can also lead to early intervention of major concerns such as depression and anxiety, leading to reduced worker’s compensation and other medical costs.
What is an Employee Assistance Program or EAP?
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) works with and supports employees in relation to both work-related and personal concerns. An EAP provides employees with employer funded psychology sessions in order to provide the support and early intervention necessary to limit impact on job performance and mental health.
Unless otherwise specified by the employer, this EAP service also extends to immediate family members of the employee as well. Support provided by EAP’s is not limited to work-related concerns, it can include support for anxiety, depression, relationship/family issues, trauma and substance abuse.

What are Clear Health Psychology’s points of difference for EAP?
We are a private psychology practice where the owners and directors work directly with your staff.
If your employees require additional psychology sessions after they have completed their EAP funded sessions, they can transition as a private client. Medicare rebates under the Mental Health Care plan are $89.65 for a psychologist and $131.65 for a clinical psychologist. This enables your staff members continuity of care and the opportunity to continue to work through issues (now or at a later date) with the same psychologist if they wish.
Your employees will see the same psychologist each time.
We only have qualified and highly skilled psychologists with our practice who have carefully been selected by our owner Dr Maxine Hawkins.
We charge no management & administration fees.
