Sue has held senior roles in counselling and other areas of mental health including education. She has provided mental health trainings for staff and students at universities, government, corporate and not -for-profit organisations and has lead hundreds of psycho-education workshops for the public on parenting, anger management, self worth, boundaries and many more topics.  Sue’s background also includes Research, Worker’s Compensation, Accident and Injury Insurance, EAP and Critical Incident Response. Sue is now Clinical Director of Clear Health Psychology, Mandurah.

Sue says that people come to see her when things are difficult and that it’s good to talk about it rather than struggle on.  Some people want her help with strategies because depression, anxiety or another disorder is impacting their life negatively.  Others seek help with something distressing that has happened or is happening to them.   Clients often want to know how to manage themselves better so a better outcome can be gained, or ways to deal with a difficult relationship of some kind. By better understanding and resolving these sorts of problems, Sue says we are likely to improve our sense of control and self direction, our overall wellbeing and our enjoyment of life.

Sue sees individuals over 16 years if age who are experiencing a range of personal stressors and mental health problems such as:
