Sophie Lee

Sophie is a Registered Psychologist with fifteen years experience working in adult mental health, generalist counselling and in family and youth support settings.
Sophie is a person-centred practitioner who tailors individualised interventions to meet each client where they are at. She has worked for a perinatal mental health service and has a special interest in supporting parents experiencing adjustment and mental health challenges in pregnancy and the early years of parenting. Sophie has also worked providing EAP counselling to people experiencing a range of challenges such as workplace stress, relationship issues and life adjustments.

Sophie is warm and engaging, adopting a person-centred approach in her practice. She enjoys working with clients from a range of backgrounds and strives to create a relaxed, non-judgmental space to explore the goals of each individual client.

Sophie creates a safe therapeutic space, providing the opportunity for personal growth and improved wellbeing.

Sophie draws upon a variety of tools from evidence-based interventions such as;

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
  • Mindfulness.

When working with perinatal clients she uses attachment theory and the Circle of Security model to inform her practice.

Sophie practices at CHP in Fremantle and sees adult clients aged 18 + years.

Sophie runs her own independent practice and engages Clear Health Psychology to provide administrative and other business services to enable her to provide assessment and treatment to her clients. Appointments are for 51 minutes at a rate of $195 and can attract a Medicare rebate with a Mental Health Care Plan.
Appointments are precious and we appreciate you giving at least 24 hours notice if you can’t attend, otherwise 50% of the full fee will apply with no Medicare rebate.
