Bec’s therapeutic approaches draw upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
Bec has experience in CBT for insomnia (CBT-I), and trauma-informed CBT (TF-CBT); additionally, she is a trained Triple P facilitator.
Bec has experience working across a broad range of mental health and wellbeing areas; she has a special interest in distress intolerance, suicide prevention, non-suicidal self-injury, and trauma.
Bec works with children 12 years and older and their families as well as with adult clients.
