Registered Psychologist
Jayde is a genuine, warm, and collaborative clinician who has experience with, and a passion for, working with clients from all walks of life. He endeavours to support and empower clients to navigate and grow through adversity and change. He considers this particularly important now as our physical and psychological environments continue to change in response to the global pandemic.

Jayde completed his Bachelor of Psychology at Curtin University and has experience as a psychologist in a variety of settings including disability services, the education department, e-mental health, private practice, as well as remote work sites.

He enjoys working with a diverse group of clients and feels it is a great privilege to hear an individual’s story. Jayde enjoys walking beside his clients as they achieve personal development and growth. Jayde utilises individually tailored strategies and evidence-based approaches to assist clients to gain insight into themselves and the challenges they are facing. As part of this process, he helps clients to develop effective ways of responding to, and managing, these difficulties.

Jayde has worked with clients experiencing issues such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Life transitions
  • Grief
  • Suicidal ideation
  • Work/study stress
  • Relationship/communication difficulties
  • Sleep hygiene
  • Self-esteem issues
  • Burnout

Jayde works primarily within the Rogerian client focused and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) frameworks. He also incorporates mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy into client sessions. Jayde believes a combined approach can assist clients in developing a greater awareness of their feelings, actions, and impact on others. This can then lead to a greater emotional awareness and confidence when responding to challenging situations.

Jayde runs his own independent practice and engages Clear Health Psychology to provide administrative and other business services to enable him to provide assessment and treatment to his clients.
