Emma has a relaxed, warm, and engaging counselling style. She has a genuine interest in helping others to improve their quality of life across the lifespan.
Emma has a range of experience working with acute and rehabilitation health, child and adolescent health, adult mental health, child protection, aged care and disability services. She also has specialised knowledge of Acquired Brain Injury and disability and has a particular interest in assisting clients with disability, grief & loss and significant changes in their life.
Emma is a Mental Health First Aid trainer and enjoys educating patients and families about mental health to improve community understanding, acceptance and knowledge. Emma draws from her experience of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and, Person Centred Therapy models in her work with clients and families.
Emma runs her own independent practice and engages Clear Health Psychology to provide administrative and other business services to enable her to provide assessment and treatment to her clients.
