Clinical Psychologist
Katia (she/her) is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor who has extensive experience supporting young people and their families to build strong relationships and overcome their difficulties.

Katia’s warm, compassionate approach combined with her years of experience provides a safe space for young people and families to feel regulated, connected and contained while working towards their therapy goals.

She has over 10 years’ experience in supporting families navigate the complexities of parenting, in particular the joys and unique challenges of parenting neurodiverse children, as well as supporting children and adolescents through experiences of trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, anxiety, low mood, gender and sexuality exploration, relationship difficulties, and family systems difficulties.

Katia’s genuine passion for supporting people therapeutically is evident in her dedication and her playful, curious, empathic approach to providing therapeutic support.

She is trained in a variety of evidence-based psychological interventions such as Circle of Security (CoS), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Mentalisation Based Therapy (MBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), the applications of Polyvagal Theory to Clinical Practice and the impact of Developmental Trauma and uses these approaches and frameworks  to empower young people and their families to thrive.

Katia also provides supervision to clinicians using relational, attachment approaches who work with children, adolescents and family systems.

Appointment duration:  51 minutes

Sessions rates:

Individuals: $300.00 per appointment

Family: $300.00 per appointment

Medicare rebate is available with a Mental Health Care Plan for individual appointments.

Cancellation Policy: Appointments are precious and we appreciate you giving at least 24 hours notice if you cannot attend. For cancellations under 24 hours, 50% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate.

Please note: Katia does not accept appointments for clients over 25 years old or couple’s sessions.
