Clinical Psychologist, Forensic Psychologist
Debra is a down to earth and relatable psychologist, who brings a non-judgemental and honest approach to working with clients. She believes that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling life and works with clients to identify and understand blockages that prevent the client from living the life they want.

Dr Debra Bycroft has endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist and Forensic Psychologist with AHPRA, is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society, and a Clinical Member of the Australian Association of Family Therapists Inc. (AAFT).

Debra obtained her undergraduate degree at Curtin University and worked as a registered psychologist from 2010. She then completed a Doctor of Psychology (Clinical and Forensic) at Edith Cowan University in 2020. She has worked in the private and public sectors and has experience working with couples, families, adolescents, children, and adults.

Her career started in Human Resources working within the private and government sectors. This experience is supported by a Master of Applied Psychology (Organisational). Her experience working in organisations means she understands and can assist with coping with office politics, the challenges of work-related stress, interpersonal issues at work, and career transitions.

Debra has experience working with couples and families in crises, this area of interest is supported by a Graduate Diploma of Relationship Counselling. Debra has experience working with adults and children in the following areas:

Debra runs her own independent practice and engages Clear Health Psychology to provide administrative and other business services to enable her to provide assessment and treatment to her clients.

Appointment duration:  51 minutes

Sessions rates:

Individuals: $260.00 per appointment

Couples: $280.00 per appointment

Family Counselling: $320.00 per appointment

Medicare rebate is available with a Mental Health Care Plan for individual appointments. 

Cancellation Policy: Appointments are precious and we appreciate you giving at least 48 hours notice if you can not attend. For cancellations under 48 hours, 50% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate.

Please note: Debra does not accept appointments for children under the age of 15 years old.
