Clinical Psychologist
Bethany largely works from a holistic framework and understands the important relationship between mental health and physical health. She is passionate about supporting people in overcoming their personal difficulties and seeks to help people create and live a meaningful, and purposeful life in line with their values and aspirations.

Bethany brings a comprehensive background of knowledge and experience into her sessions with clients. Bethany obtained her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology in Perth, Western Australia. She believes that the supportive exploration of personal challenges in a safe and nurturing environment allows for clients to experience personal growth, create positive changes in their lives, and enhance their wellbeing and quality of life.

Bethany has worked with both children and adults in supporting them overcome a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including:

Bethany uses a range of evidence based therapies in her practice, including:

  • cognitive behavioural therapy
  • schema therapy
  • eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR)
  • acceptance and commitment therapy
  • other mindfulness based therapies.

Bethany uses EMDR as a treatment modality specifically to assist people in overcoming and reprocessing simple and complex trauma. Bethany has extensive experience in the area of parent and child attachment and is a recognised Circle of Security therapist and group facilitator.

Bethany runs her own independent practice and engages Clear Health Psychology to provide administrative and other business services to enable her to provide assessment and treatment to her clients.

Appointment duration:  51 minutes

Sessions rates:

Individuals: $330.00 per appointment

Medicare rebate is available with a Mental Health Care Plan for individual appointments. 

Cancellation Policy: Appointments are precious and we appreciate you giving at least 24 hours notice if you can not attend. For cancellations under 24 hours, 50% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate.

Please note: Bethany does not accept bookings for clients under the age of 13 years old, couples or family sessions.
