Amanda obtained her Masters of Psychology (Counselling) through Curtin University of Technology. Amanda has worked in private practice for a number of years, after working with community organisations for over ten years.
Over the course of her working history Amanda has written and co-facilitated group programs for young people navigating their way through grief and loss, and for young people and their primary carers experiencing attachment disruption. She has provided therapy to individuals and couples primarily coming from an attachment framework. Amanda has worked with a diverse client population in a variety of settings and recognises how unique each client is, her priority is getting to know the client, meeting them where they are at and drawing on models that are an appropriate therapeutic fit for each client.
Amanda is experienced in working with adults (18+ years of age) dealing with:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Self-esteem
- Grief and loss
- Relationship issues
- Life transitions such as first-time motherhood/parenthood.
Amanda has been trained in several evidence based therapeutic techniques including:

- Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
- Existential Therapy
- Brain Based Therapy
- Relaxation and Mindfulness practices
Amanda runs her own independent practice and engages Clear Health Psychology to provide administrative and other business services to enable her to provide assessment and treatment to her clients.

Sessions rates:
Individuals: $210.00 per appointment
Couples: $230.00 per appointment
Medicare rebate is available with a Mental Health Care Plan for individual appointments.
Cancellation Policy: Appointments are precious and we appreciate you giving at least 24 hours notice if you can not attend. For cancellations under 24 hours, 50% of the session rate will apply with no Medicare rebate.
Please note: Amanda does not take appointments for children or adolescents under the age of 18 years old.
