Caitlin Jutsum
Psychologist
Caitlin is an experienced psychologist, with a masters in applied psychology. She is a dedicated clinician, with a warm, trauma informed, and person centred approach. Caitlin is passionate about assisting clients to develop healthy thought patterns and adaptive approaches to managing difficult emotions.
Clinical Experience
Caitlin has experience in both public sector and independent practice as a clinician, supervisor, mental health first aid facilitator and mediator. In her previous role at a psychiatric hospital, Caitlin was in a management role where she facilitated supervision, coordinated mandatory training, and promoted evidence based practice within the team.
Education and Therapeutic Approaches
She has several degrees, including a Bachelor of Psychology, Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Applied Psychology. She builds on her significant academic qualifications by regularly training in evidence based therapies. She uses a range of different treatments including, but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Attachment-Based therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy approaches, Schema therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing therapy.
Caitlin is continuously upskilling and integrating new concepts into her practice. As a result she treats a range of presentations including:
