Lina is a registered Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA, and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Australian Clinical Psychologists Association.
Lina is experienced in working with children, adolescents, adults and couples. Lina’s therapeutic style is client centred, holistic and compassionate and works collaboratively with clients to reach therapy goals using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, imagery rescripting and reprocessing, EMDR and psychodynamic principles. She has a special interest in compassion-focused therapy, and has conducted research on enhancing mindfulness with self-compassion.
Clinical Experience and Background
Lina has completed her Master’s Degree in Applied Clinical Psychology and has over 20 years’ experience in the Health industry, most recently in inpatient and outpatient public health services and private practice, with qualifications obtained as both a Registered Nurse in her early career, and currently as a Clinical Psychologist.
Lina offers therapy for a broad range of psychological, emotional and life change issues, including all forms of depression, anxiety, worry and stress, difficulties with emotion regulation, trauma, and interpersonal problems. Using a non-judgmental approach, Lina works with clients to diminish distressing symptoms, shift unhelpful life patterns, and find meaning in their experience.
