We are a provider of Employee Assistance Program services to businesses across the Perth metropolitan area and greater Western Australia through face to face, telephone, Skype and critical incident support counselling.
WHAT IS AN EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM?
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) works with and supports employees in relation to both work-related and personal concerns. An EAP provides employees with employer funded psychology sessions in order to provide the support and early intervention necessary to limit impact on job performance and mental health. Unless otherwise specified by the employer, this service also extends to immediate family members of the employee as well. Support provided by EAP’s is not limited to work-related concerns, it can include support for anxiety, depression, relationship/family issues, trauma and substance abuse.
BENEFITS OF AN EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
An EAP works to support employee’s emotional and psychological wellbeing, so employers and employees alike see the effectiveness of an EAP as it tends to result in higher employee productivity, less sick days and reduced staff turnover. This kind of support often leads to early intervention of major concerns such as depression and anxiety, leading again to reduced worker’s compensation and other medical costs.
At Clear Health Psychology, all of our psychology services are provided in house and are not subcontracted to external providers, therefore you can be assured that all of our clinician’s hold registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and each have extensive experience in the provision of EAP services.
Our dedicated team of experienced Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists represent a broad range of specialisations and expert knowledge and are able to work with employers to help them manage their people and teams and helping employee and employer find their voice together for shared understanding. Finding your voice is important not just at work but in life.
At Clear Health Psychology we aim to ensure that all workers are understood and supported through the entire treatment process. Our administration team are trained to ensure there is easy communication between the worker and the clinic, as well as supporting the worker with any additional paperwork and changes in appointment times or cancellations.

Points of Difference
We are a private psychology practice where the owners and directors work directly with your staff.
If your employees require additional sessions then they can transition as a private client. Medicare rebates under the Mental Health Care plan are $84.80 for a psychologist and $124.50 for a clinical psychologist. This enables your staff members continuity of care and the opportunity to continue to work through issues (now or at a later date) with the same psychologist if they wish.
Your employees will see the same psychologist each time.
We only have qualified highly skilled psychologists with our practice who have carefully been selected by our owner Dr Maxine Hawkins.
We charge no management fee.
We have five locations in Mt Lawley, Hillarys, Fremantle, Floreat and Subiaco with convenient parking, disabled access and close to public transport.
We have a dedicated administration team who are able to assist with easy and confidential communication between the worker and the clinic, any paperwork required and booking appointments.
We have existing EAP contracts with Government Organisations. We provide quarterly reports as part of this contract, which are tailored to each individual organisation as requested.
Our psychologists provide practical, effective and confidential support to children, adolescents, adults, families and couples (each of these are specialty areas).
We adhere strictly to AHPRA operating guidelines as well as the Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics. These codes cover clinical governance and confidentiality processes.
We have both male and female psychologists.
Your staff can go onto our website to read the profiles of the psychologist and make a request. Alternatively our in-take workers are highly skilled at matching staff and clinicians together.
Your staff will know whom they are getting and where they need to go rather than being sent across Perth.
We only use evidenced based approaches.
The HR team will have access to the owners mobile to discuss sensitive issues should they arise.
Clinical supervision and clinical governance is managed by the owner.
The psychologists are fully supported by an admin team which enables fast access to appointments and support to your staff if changes to times are needed to be made.
We use the latest technology to ensure easy communication between your staff and our admin team.
